As many of you know our dear friend, Jenny, has been bravely battling Stage 4 Appendix Cancer for many years. Despite her tenacity and willingness to never give up, she was recently placed in hospice care to allow her the utmost comfort. Let’s work together to help raise funds to purchase plane tickets and cover travel expenses for her and her husband, James, to return to Texas to visit with family and friends.
We will be performing the hero WOD “Jenny.” This workout was created with all of Jenny’s favorite movements and each number has a meaning behind it.
Donations will be accepted at the door and throughout the day. We will also have some silent auction items.
Please join us for a day of fitness and fellowship all in honor of our friend, Jenny.

The event will run from 10:00AM-12:30PM, with 4 heats of 8 teams. To reserve your heat time please use the registration below, otherwise spots will be filled on a first come-first serve walk-in basis. There is no cost to register, but donations of any amount will be accepted at the door. If you cannot attend but would like to contribute, please check out Jenny’s GoFundMe  to donate and learn more about her fight.

The workout consists of some of Jenny’s favorite CrossFit movements and is for all levels of fitness whether you CrossFit or not. All movements and/or reps can be modified, so please join us this Saturday!

Teams of 3:

2 Rounds (each person):
20 Calorie Row
14 Calorie Assault Bike
*Complete in a conveyor belt style

then,

5 Rounds of:
8 Burpee Box Jump Overs (24”/20”)
10 Kettlebell Thrusters (53/35 x 2)
31 Wall Balls (20/14)
11 Bench Press (155/105)

then,

9 Rope Climbs (15’)

*Each team member must complete 2 rounds of the 20 Cal Row and 14 Cal Bike
*Team members work together and can partition work as needed during the 5 rounds.
*During the 5 rounds, one team member must ALWAYS be holding a 45/35# plate. The plate cannot touch the ground at any time or a penalty will be assessed.

There is no need to pre-register, but to guarantee your heat time:

TEAMS please have one team member register and select the number of total team members from the drop down to reserve your spots. Enter the other team member’s full names in the comment field.

INDIVIDUAL please select 1 from the drop down and we will place you on a team where space is available.

All walk-ins will be assigned to the next available heat. Please come early to make sure you have time to sign a waiver and get warmed up!
